Today, the traditional insurance business model is gradually transforming into an innovative one. This is facilitated by the active development of digital technologies and the introduction of insurance innovations, believes Volodymyr Shevchenko, General Director of MTIBU, speaking at the III International Conference "Digital Solutions for Insurance Companies and Banks".
Insurers are faced with a rather dynamic environment of strong future trends, such as digitalization, "big data" (Big Data), mobility, socio-demographic shifts, changing and developing markets, changing traditional client behavior, turbulence in capital markets, climate and infrastructure changes, as well as increasing regulatory requirements, said the CEO of MTIBU, talking about digital innovations in the insurance market of Ukraine.
5 key technological trends in insurance that will radically change business processes in the field of OSCPV
- Omnichannel communications - integration into a single convenient environment of various online and offline customer-oriented communication channels, involving all types of gadgets.
- Launch of chatbots - virtual interlocutors that will take on a significant part of the functions of call centers, answers to current questions and preparation of offers for insurance.
- Analysis and processing of large amounts of detailed information about policyholders and victims (Big Data)
- Transition to a digital form of insurance policy, digital signature and remote identification (Mobile ID, Bank ID, online access to registers).
- Blockchain is a system of distributed access to data, and as a result - increased trust in online products.
Innovations in the future will generally change the approach to the architecture and design of insurance products, information infrastructure and risk assessment methodology. Insurers need to place a conscious emphasis on the development and application of innovations and tracking new global and local trends.
