Thomas Buberl, CEO AXA:
«We continue to successfully implement our Ambition 2020 plan. In 2017, the Group grew effectively in all priority areas and in all regions where AXA operates. The fastest growing segment last year was Health, in which revenues and profits increased by 6% and 11%, respectively.
In accordance with our strategic vision, we are constantly expanding our prospects to provide people with the opportunity to live a better life, in particular, we continue to transition from Payer to Partner status. The Group also continues to lead the insurance industry in innovation, including in the fight against climate change, for which we are quadrupling our commitments to «green» investments.
I would like to thank our clients for their trust, and our team and partners for sharing our vision, because together we strive for sustainable long-term growth and ensuring continuous value for all our partners.
