Insurance for work in the Czech Republic

Working in the Czech Republic involves obtaining medical insurance from the company. Submitting all documents requires time, during which the employee remains without protection. That is why insurance is necessary for working in the Czech Republic.

• all risks that may arise during the work process must be included;
• the period for which the insurance must be issued - travel time + 15 days.

The minimum recommended insurance coverage is 50,000 euros.

The policy must subsequently be issued from the employer company, but this requires time, during which the employee remains vulnerable: if necessary, he will have to pay significant bills on his own. During the time required to apply for insurance in another country, the employee must be protected from high medical expenses.

The price of the insurance is determined by two factors:

1. Duration of stay abroad.
2. Number of cases included in the policy.

The increase in cost occurs because the insurance coverage becomes larger, which, in turn, guarantees high-quality protection for the traveler.

Rule for seeking medical care

If you feel very unwell and you are unable to inform the insurance agent about this, you must do so immediately after you receive medical care.

In all other cases, the insured is obliged to notify the specialist before contacting the clinic. To do this, you need to call the numbers indicated on the document form. The agent will tell you the specific clinic where you need to call and schedule an appointment.

Some specialists conduct all the negotiations themselves, then the future patient will simply have to come to the doctor's appointment at a pre-arranged time.

Neglecting this rule may result in a refusal to pay compensation.
