Egypt is a country that holds many secrets and monuments, unusual cultural traditions. To enter, Ukrainians need to obtain insurance in Egypt. This fact will need to be confirmed when filling out the questionnaire on the plane.

Do I need insurance in Egypt?

The main task of the policy is to shift financial responsibility for possible medical expenses abroad from the insured to the insurance company. The more insured events are included, the better protected the traveler is.

Given the current realities, Ukrainians need insurance against COVID-19. Treatment of this disease must be insured, otherwise you may not be allowed to travel abroad.

Where can I get a policy for Egypt?

Travel insurance is issued in two places to choose from:

1. at the office of any insurance company;
2. online via the Internet.

The first option takes time, the second is available to anyone with a device with Internet access. The printed electronic and paper versions have the same legal force and are accepted by all authorities. It does not take much time to apply online: just fill out a short questionnaire, and soon the policy will be in your e-mail.

If a traveler abroad does not feel very well, the first thing he should do is contact the insurance company agent, whose phone number is indicated on the issued document. In a telephone conversation, you need to fully describe the situation. Then there are two possible options:

1. The specialist recommends a medical institution for treatment. You have to call there and make an appointment.
2. The specialist independently conducts all the necessary negotiations with the clinic. All you have to do is come to the appointment at the appointed time.

Violating this procedure is allowed in the event of a sudden and sharp deterioration in the condition. In this case, you can notify the agent immediately after the fact of providing medical care. However, in other cases, such behavior will be regarded as a violation of the terms of the contract.
