Benefits for a private vehicle

The state takes care of special categories of citizens, creating certain conditions, subsidies and benefits for them; the law determines which groups of people are entitled to benefits for a private vehicle. Preferential insurance for a private vehicle is provided for pensioners, Chernobyl survivors, war participants and disabled people of the 2nd group. For all of the listed persons, the discount on the registration of a private vehicle is 50%. The features of the preferential private vehicle for pensioners and other above-mentioned categories are that the vehicle must belong to and be used by the beneficiary, be in good technical condition and have an engine capacity of up to 2500 "cubic meters".

There is also a category of citizens of Ukraine who, according to the law, are completely exempt from the need to purchase a private vehicle. This type of benefit for OSCPV is granted to combatants, as well as disabled war veterans who drive their own vehicles. In the event of an accident and an insured event, MTIBU covers losses on a claim.

There are benefits for OSCPV not only for pensioners and disabled people. There is also a discount program for "wholesale insurance". This is mainly relevant for legal entities. When applying for a civil auto policy for 5-9 vehicles, the amount of the insurance payment is reduced by 5%, up to 19 vehicles - 10%, and from 20 vehicles - 15%.
