Insurance cost and reimbursement limits

The cost of the policy depends on the type of insurance and the country the tourist is going to visit. The cheapest medical insurance agreement will cost about 1-2 euros per day.

Reimbursement limits:

• The basic insurance limit in Turkey and Egypt, which are popular with Ukrainians, is 20-30 thousand dollars. But such a policy does not cover extended services.
• Exotic China or South Korea will "raise" the insurance amount to 30-50 thousand dollars.
• If the chosen country is Japan, the amount of compensation will be at least 50 thousand dollars.

It is also necessary to pay attention that the insurance company can unreasonably overestimate the size of the deductible, the price threshold after which the insurance compensation begins to operate, therefore its overestimation significantly reduces the chances of receiving compensation.

It should be taken into account that the deductible can be:

• Conditional, when the treatment is paid to the client in full if its cost exceeds the deductible amount.
• Unconditional - with it, the tourist will in any case be forced to pay the doctor with each visit within the deductible amount, and the insurance company will pay only what exceeds this amount.
